Dear Speaker

 

Thank you for expressing your interest in being a speaker at our Women Confidence Builders events. We are thrilled to have you as a potential speaker and appreciate your willingness to share your insights and experiences with our audience.

 

To be a speaker at our events/podcast, we will soon have a form to fill out for consideration.  In the meantime, please follow the steps outlined below:

 

1. Submit a speaker application (via forum messaging only, you must follow these instructions or you will not get a response): Please provide us with your contact information, a brief bio, your fees, and a summary of your proposed speaking topics. We also encourage you to include any relevant experience or qualifications that make you a strong candidate for speaking at our events or on the podcast.  You must submit this on the forum by sending it to any of the following:  via private messaging here on the forum (use the envelope - top right).

2. Wait for our response: Once we receive your application, we will review it and get back to you with a decision. If we select you as a speaker/panelist/podcast we will provide you with more detailed information about the event, including the date, time, and location.

 

3. Prepare your presentation: Once we confirm your participation as a speaker, you will have ample time to prepare your presentation. We encourage you to tailor your presentation to our audience of women who are looking to build their confidence and advance in their personal and professional lives. We also recommend that you focus on actionable tips and strategies that our attendees/audience can implement in their daily lives.

 

4. Deliver your presentation (in-person event): On the day of the event, please arrive at least 30 minutes early to set up and familiarize yourself with the venue. You will have approximately 45 minutes to deliver your presentation, followed by a Q&A session with the audience.

 

5. Deliver your interview (Podcast guest):  On the day of the podcast, please arrive on time and familiarize yourself with the virtual recording room, checking the audio.  You will have approximately 20 minutes to tell your story so be quick and concise to engage the audience!
