Hi everyone. My name is Alastair Boulding, feel free to call me AL. I am a Professor of Practice in construction sciences and management at Clemson University, I have been a tradesperson in HVAC for years, a manager for sub, G.C, developer for years as well - (I like my trades work more, lol, shhh don't tell anyone that) 

I am a huge advocate for women in construction, I actually think it is more important than working on getting any other demographic in construction. I have a few reasons why I believe that. Women should get paid well and construction pays well, women have a certain attention to detail which goes above and beyond from my experience working with the women I have worked along side of, and when the men who don't want to be in construction see more women in the field making more money then they are, it will inspire them as well to get to it.

I absolutely love this site and what you all are doing - it is amazing and wonderful and, and, and, the list goes on. If I can help anyone with anything I and more than willing.
